A time saving tool intended for the chartist who regularly stretches and shrinks the X and Y axis of their chart.  And as a result, experiences unwanted widened bar/line widths. So when this occurs, the trader must visit the properties panel to manually return to the desired bar/candle/line width – An exercise which involves 4 mouse clicks every time. Over the course of a trading session, this can be time consuming and mouse thirsty work.

So when installed, the Chart Resetter overcomes the need for this kind of manual reset by defaulting the bar/candle/line width to the trader’s predetermined preference (Most often a setting of 1). This offers speed around the chart which can be particularly meaningful during high volume times when a trader is called upon to make rapid decisions.
